Ten Weeks and a First Week

It's so hard to believe that our little girl is ten weeks old! She's up to 8 pounds and about 2 ounces and starting to fill out her baby wrinkles. We're both ready for her little legs to fill out so we can make the switch to cloth diapers. We tried one on her this weekend and that's the only place that can't be adjusted to fit her. So, we'll keep buying disposables until then. Sigh...

Here's a picture of her on Thanksgiving when she was two months old. While it looks like she's sitting up, I promise she's still very much a bobble head. :)

This week is my first full week back to work, which also means it's Julia's first full week in daycare. We had a trial run last Wednesday and they said she did great. (It was also much easier to get lots of errands run without having a baby in tow.)

Coincidentally, we also happen to have zero plans this week in the evenings which is nice since I'm sure we'll be tired from all the activity and trying to get into a routine.

My day today went by pretty quickly this morning and then about three o'clock slowed to a crawl! I think part of it was me being tired from working a full day and part of it was I was ready to see my sweet little girl. Of course, when I picked her up she was perfectly fine and happy, but she did have an outfit change today. Oops! Babies will be babies, right?

Julia is absolutely adorable!!! I bet you're just itching to get to her by the end of the day. :-) It must make evening snuggles even better!
