Well, Sunday she was a little more interested in food so we tried the Science Diet i/d canned food that the vet prescribed and she didn't want it. She normally eats only dry kibble. SO, we tried a few kibbles of her dry food and she ate those. Same thing Monday morning. She threw up in her kennel on Monday so we went back to the vet Monday afternoon.
Last night she had more of an appetite so I gave her some of the canned food. Well, last night she was gobbling it up. Yeah!
After eating we had to watch her closely to make sure she kept all of the food down. I was careful not to give her too much so it wouldn't overwhelm her little stomach. (Yes, I will go ahead and admit I'm an overprotective pet parent.)
She kept all of her dinner down so for breakfast we fed her a bit more. I'm hoping she does okay with this as well.
Also, I need to brag about my husband for a bit. He left work early to meet us at the vet. I can't tell you how that warms my heart and makes me think he'll be a great dad someday. Also, I hope Miette felt special since we both took off to take her to the vet. ;)

i am so glad she is doing better! what a precious little girl!
What a cutie, just like my Bella only black. Glad she is feeling better!
Don't worry, I'm an overprotective pet parent too. And I'm seriously dedicated to my pets! Even if they live half way across the country at the moment! Once when my goat Otis got kidney stones we paid $1,400 for him to have a surgery to clear them out! Most people would be like, for a GOAT?! But he is my baby and I'd do anything for him. =]
Hey Sara! I love that he left early to meet you at the vet. That is so nice. Prayers for Miette.
I am very glad to hear that she is doing better!
I'm totally an overprotective dog mom too. :-)
I'm so glad that Miette is feeling better! And WAY TO GO to your hubby! What a great dog dad.
Precious puppies make like that much better!!! Thanks for visiting my blog -- now following you :)
I'm so glad that little cutie is feeling better! I get so worried when our furbabies don't feel well - especially since they can't tell us what's wrong!
