Since we're experts now...

Or not. I love how keeping a baby generally healthy and pretty much happy for six months makes you an expert in the baby gear arena. I've been meaning to write out and share some of our favorite items that were procured for the Bean, but somehow have had little time to actually get it done.

So, that being said, I'm going to break it down into smaller chunks. Maybe that will make it more manageable for me.

The essentials (and, by essentials, I really do mean necessary. You'll find no wipe warmer under essential!)

Travel:
Peg-Perego 2011 Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat
We got this car seat since it was rated to European safety standards, which, are apparently much higher than U.S. standards. As soon as they started talking about safety my husband was sold I think.

I like this car seat, but it is heavy! Heavier than most, I learned after we brought it home and tossed the box. Ugh!

Uniden Wireless Video Monitor

So, we went with an actual surveillance system instead of a monitor made for babies. Why? Cost. Plain and simple. This has a bigger screen and doesn't look baby-ish. Which means we can use it to keep tabs on her when she's sixteen...

Fisher-Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle 'n Swing
This. Is. A. Lifesaver! The swing could get a baby to sleep when nothing else could. I highly, highly recommend getting one that plugs in.

Puj Tub
I really like the Puj Tub! It was so easy for me to fold it and get the bath ready for the baby and clean up is a breeze. Now, that Julia is too big for it, I truly miss it. (Is that weird?)

Baby Connect tracking App

I registered for an itzbeen and someone gave it to us. But, I found I was always looking for it and my phone and I only have so many hands, you know? So, when my husband read about this app I spent the five bucks and I love it! I even made him buy it for his iPad so he can keep us up to date when he's on baby duty.

Of course, we have lots more, but I feel like a safe ride, a place to hang, a way to see the baby and bathe the baby are the essentials. I'll be back with more...

I don't know if I ever thanked you for recommending the Baby Connect app to me a few months ago. Well worth the $5!!
