Like a glass of iced tea

It's no surprise to anyone that this summer has been hot. Brutally hot. And, here in the Dallas area it's been over 100 degrees for more than a month now.

One of the things I could happily do away with about myself is that I sweat. I don't perspire or glisten or glow. I sweat. And, this summer, it's even worse! This little heater I have growing puts off a lot of heat. And, I find myself just dripping with sweat lately. The ruin your pretty silk blouse kind of dripping. (Let's hope the cleaners can remove the sweat stains from what it one of my favorite tops.)

So, I think it might be time to bust out the clinical strength antiperspirants. I've never used them since the regular stuff seems to keep me fresh enough. (Sorry if this it TMI, but I need some advice.)

I recently googled "clinical strength antiperspirant" to see if I could find the best brand to try and came across this article from Consumer Reports: http://bit.ly/pENCw1 Have any of you tried this method? I'm going to give it a go. Mostly because I don't want to spend $8 on one container. I'll let you know if it works...

So I sweat too. Big time. I think the "clinical" ones work better for a while, but then I guess my body got used to them because they don't work anymore. I'll have to try the putting it on at night thing. Also I've heard that Certain Dri (?) is amazing but have never been able to get a hold of it...

You may want to do a little extra reading on them, just to be sure. When I was using them, my dad showed me an article and I quit using them. Most "clinical" deodorants have just under the legal limit of aluminum.... not sure if that is still the case, but just wanted to share that - for you and sweet bean!
