Scenario #1
You find a great pair of jeans that you love. They flatter your backside and are as comfortable on the first day as some you've had for years.
You go back a month or so after purchasing said jeans, because you think it would be great to have two pairs in your rotation.
Only to find that they're discontinued. Why?!?
Back to square one...
Scenario #2
You have a silver charm engraved since it's of sentimental value. (with my dog's name since you wondered.) You go to the jeweler who made the item to have this service done.
Six months later for Christmas, you get a second of the same charm (for the other dog) and you take it to be engraved as well.
And they've changed their engraving fonts.
Sigh...
Scenario #3
You find a laundry detergent that you like that's also good for the environment and not terribly expensive. You buy the big bottle.
Some time later you run out and go back to you regular store to buy more and they don't carry it anymore. So, you go to your second choice store who had mailed you a coupon for this very product. They don't carry it either. So, you go to the store you hate most in the world because someone told you they had it. And, they do. So, you buy another big bottle.
When it runs out you go back to the dreaded store and guess what? They don't carry it anymore either!?!
Conclusion
These are just a few examples of how things generally go for me once I find something I like.
So, I've come to the conclusion that I must be the only person who likes the things that I do. Since apparently, nobody else is purchasing enough of these things to keep them in stores...

I feel like these things happen to me all the time. I am picky about salad dressing and the restaurant downstairs in my work building changed their menu and no longer arry my favorite salad. I searched high and low for a foundation that was pale enough and didn't break me out. Guess what. Discontinued. :)
Sounds like you're having luck like mine! Here's hoping it turns around for both of us, ASAP!
Ugh, I hear you! I remember back in high school the best jeans I ever wore were from Express. But as soon as 'low rise' became popular, they quit making 'normal' ones and I've been searching for the perfect jeans since then. It's so annoying!
Girl I'm 28 years old and have never fallen in love with a pair of jeans! Is that sad??
This kind of stuff happens to me all the time! As soon as I decide I like something, it gets discontinued. I was beginning to wonder if I was the kiss of death for new products!
