Oh, Christmas Tree...

So, we got a tree. A rather nice tree if I can say so. We brought the tree home on Tuesday of last week.

And now, the tree has only lights on it. And my husband wants to leave it that way.

Insert sigh here...

What is our problem? Why do we not have the Christmas spirit this year? I'm so worn out from the last few weeks at work and school that I'm thinking the tree will just stay that way honestly.

How lazy is that?

And, the rest of our decorations? We haven't taken those out either. Nothing has been put out other than the wreath and the nativity which are in their own boxes.

Help! How can I get in the Christmas mood?

Haven't put up the tree, put out a single decoration, bought a single gift. Just not in the mood. Not sure why (I don't have school to deal with so I can't really use the "busy" excuse). I feel you! Let me know if you figure out the antidote. :)

I'm hearing the same sentiment from many people. Not sure if life's stresses are just catching up with more and more folks or what, but it's been tough for some folks to get into it this year. Hopefully, you'll find some Christmas cheer and be able to enjoy your holidays. :)

I had the same feeling last year. I found that putting out my Christmas decor really helped get me in the spirit (though it was tough getting started...) Hope you find your Christmas cheer!

I have the tree up...but not a single other decoration. There's just too much to do and no time to do it in.

I hope the Christmas spirit finds you again soon. :-)
