I've been back to the gym two days in a row now and man, I'm pooped! I know once it gets to be a habit again I'll feel more energy, but right now I'm struggling. I haven't been sleeping very well so I hope that gets better as well. You know you're restless when your husband says in the morning, "I know you didn't sleep very well..."
As far as the weigh-in goes, I weighed in last week, but knew I would have a small gain. Today was a good weigh in. I'm so close to breaking a barrier and it's really motivating me.
What motivates you all to keep on track? Sometimes its way too easy to get off. I do love good food after all...

Hmm, that's a hard one! What motivates me to keep going is that I want to try to live a healthy well balanced lifestyle. My mom is diabetic and although she does not necessarily have weight issues, she does have other complications. Watching her struggle with these issues makes me thankful for my health and reminds me that I need to take care of myself. I try to make it about being overall healthy and not an obsession with the number I see on the scale.
I do struggle with my weight (I have PCOS) and the thing that works best for me is portion control. I allow myself to have what I want, whenever I want, but I make sure that if it is something unhealthy I eat a smaller portion of it. I find that when I tell myself no and deprive myself, later on down the road I end up going over board when I do finally have what I am craving.
Oh and I agree with you 100% on the sleep thing! Getting a good night’s rest is so important in the weight loss picture, not to mention for overall health.
