Gift Giving Made Easy

I would like to fill you all in on the greatness that is the Amazon Wish List. People are always asking for gift ideas and forgetting what it was they themselves thought would be good gifts.
Enter the Amazon Wish List!

You see, I used to keep a little list of things I thought my husband would like. Things he seemed drawn to while we were out shoping or talking to friends. (Granted I still have this list for things I think he'll like...)

Then I discovered that I could keep a collection of things I like and would be good gift ideas for me on my Amazon account. Even better, they have a "Universal Wish List" application that lets you add items from anywhere on the web!

Here are a few of my favorite features of this wish list tool:

1) I can set the priority of each gift. For example, I really, really want an auxillary flash for my camera. But, the dog bone charms would just be nice to have. Everything starts out as medium priority and then you assign what you wish for the most.

2) You can see which items are not available though Amazon. There is a link automatically included so gift givers can find it easily.

3) You can add notes to each item if you'd like. This is helpful for sizes and specific colors of items.
