New England, part one

Where have I been? Well, in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to tell you the truth. We left home very, very early on Friday, April 9th and returned on Sunday pretty late. (Hence, the lack of posting.)

I've yet to organize all of my photos (and I took a bunch) but I will be sure to post some when I get them finished.

So, today I thought I'd tell you about the reason we went up north in the first place. My husband's cousin was getting married. He married an amazing woman who everyone loves. Well, I can't prove that, but I can't imagine anyone not liking her, she's that great.

Here are a few pics of the wedding:Hubs and me with the bride and groom.
The groom's cake. Notice the detail shot. They are both PhD's and teach political science. I thought it was a perfect cake!
Our friends J and B looking cute.My husband and his mother. I just had to get a photo of them since they were matching so well.

And, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed we don't have any photos of the two of us together. Yet again a great chance to get a nice photo and it didn't happen.

That happens with me and Eric too--we will be at an event and we don't have a picture of US--unless I make a huge point of it.

I want to hear more about your trip--I go out there every summer since Eric's family lives in New Hampshire--we do the whole Maine, Vermont, Mass and New Hampshire scene.

Very clever cake! And it looks like you had fun!

DJ and I never get pictures together, either, unless I make a serious point of taking one. And they usually end up being those self-portrait, camera held at arm's length-type photos. I guess that's better than nothing, though.

Welcome home. I like your green dress and your new shoes.
