Weekend Recap

Thank you all for your input on our questions about our small group. We had a very good meeting on Sunday night and I think we might have been able to impress that we wanted to take the group more seriously.

Friday after work I went and had a massage. It was a less than great experience at a different Massage Envy. My appointment time was mixed up and I ended up with a 50 minute massage instead of 90 minutes. And, let me tell you that extra 40 minutes makes all the difference.

Friday night we cooked dinner at home. We had broiled salmon and cheese grits. It was dee-lish!
Saturday I had my last class for Spanish level 1 and I'm wondering if I should sign up for Level 2. I know already I'll miss two classes, but the next Level 2 isn't offered until the Fall. What do you think?

Saturday night we went to Genghis Grill for dinner and then to see Crazy Heart. It was a great movie.

Sunday morning we went to church and then to lunch. Then we both ran a few errands and hubby went to the driving range since he's going on a boys' trip this next weekend. (I'll be a single girl for four days while he's in Hilton head for a bachelor party. What to do...) Sunday night we had our small group over. We all thought it would be nice to do something special for Easter as a group and decided to watch the Passion together. I haven't seen it since it first came out, but I remember it being very emotional and almost hard to watch. Have you seen it?

And, I know it's not technically the weekend, but I didn't get to post yesterday since I was serving Jury Duty. I didn't get picked, so I had time to go visit my best friend and her brand-new baby boy. He's such a precious little boy. Just love him!

I have not seen The Passion, but that does seem like a good idea. I am glad that your Sunday meeting went well.

Take the class, even if you will miss two classes there is a better chance of you remembering everything better if you take it sooner rather than later.

I posted a comment, but I'm not sure it "took." I was going to say that we loved Crazy Heart, too! Awesome movie!

And we watched Passion again last year - neither of us had seen it since the first time it came out - I had a totally different experience with it this time (since I'm an adult); it moved me and made me have a totally different viewpoint on Easter!
