What Should I Read Next?

Have you all seen this website? It's literally called What Should I Read Next and it's so great at giving you recommendations for new books.

Here's what I read in 2009 (in no particular order):

A Thousand Splendid Suns

Julie & Julia

Moloka'i

The Art of Racing in The Rain

Loving Frank

The Shack

The Middle Place

Sarah's Key

Mercy

Such a Pretty Fat

For Better or For Best

A Lion Among Men

I know there were others but this is what comes to mind. What did you read this year? Any suggestions for my list?

The Help was absolutely amazing. If you haven't already read it, I recommend you read it ASAP!

I read just over 70 books this year!! If I can get the list off of FaceBook (I keep a virtual bookshelf), I'll send it to you. :-)

I second reading The Help. It is the best book I've read in years, possibly ever. I also liked House on Tradd but didn't like the sequel quite as much. Another one I liked was The Widow of the South.
Let us know what you end up reading.

I am currently obsessed with the book I'm almost finished with called "Secrets of Six Figure Women". If you are a business woman of any sorts, you will fall madly in love with this book. It is amazing! It's been such a self-esteem booster for me!

I just finished The Five People You Meet in Heaven and The Handmaid's Tale, liked them both a lot! Ooh, and The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

I think you already know my favorites from this past year: The Secret Life of Bees; America, America; The Help; We Need to Talk About Kevin; American Wife; and Homecoming.
