An open letter to the organizers of ACL

Dear Austin City Limits organizers,
For two years I have tried to utilize the "buy tickets" function of your website. For two years I have been greatly disappointed. I have marked my calendar and gone to your website on the day of $50 tickets, the day of the early bird tickets, the days of regular tickets and yet I am still empty handed.

Both my husband and I sit eagerly by our computers waiting for the page to load and for our confirmation screens. Both of us, while at work and while we should be doing other things.

I understand that you get a lot of people interested in your tickets. However, if you cannot accommodate the traffic generated by these people you should inform Front Gate Tickets of their suckiness. They make Ticketmaster look like a great site. (And, we all know Ticketmaster could use some serious improvements as well.)

So, while I enjoy your festivals and the bands you bring to us music lovers. Your site, for lack of another selection of words I won't post here, is poop. I mean dog poop stuck to the bottom of your shoe kind of poop. Please fix it, or, go back to the lottery of selling tickets. At least then I was able to buy the tickets on a specified day and time.

Insincerely,
A disgruntled fan

I've never tried to buy tickets, but I have heard complaints from other people as well. You'd think with as much interest as they get in it that they would get a better system!

A-freaking-men. I've totally lost my excitement over trying to attend. Screw it.

Sorry, Sara! That just stinks. No one should get between you and some good music!
