In flipping through my calendar that I somehow put away I've found some words of wisdom from the great Tim Gunn. I think you can al appreciate one or two of them.
- Make sure that you have plenty of undergarments in the tone of your skin. These pieces are a must under anything light-colored.
- Team jerseys may be worn only on game day and then, only if you are an athlete participating in said game.
- If it is still cold enough to require a scarf, you should not be wearing sandals.
- Buying well-made clothes means that you will have them longer. Can you imagine how many twelve-dollar t-shirts end up in a landfill every year? Quality, taste, and style are good for the environment!
- The cost of an article is not the same as its value.
- Sizes vary so greatly from line to line and store to store, you must always try on a potential purchase. If you don;t have the time, you should return to shopping when you do. Better to leave empty-handed than filled with misgivings about your purchase.
- Remember that fashionable body types come and go.
Just a few words of wisdom as some of you head out to some sales this weekend. I know I love Tim Gunn and his advice!

love it!- especially this one: If it is still cold enough to require a scarf, you should not be wearing sandals.
Great quotes! I disagree with the jersey one though. I have to wear my Steeler's jersey on game day! :-)
