This weekend has been a fun and busy one. Friday night we met some of hubby's friends for dinner at Truluck's. For those of you in Dallas you know this is yummy, yummy seafood. It was so good. I had jalapeno salmon and it was delish! After dinner we headed over to the Ritz (yes, the Ritz, no kidding) for drinks and people watching. This is one of the things I enjoy most about Dallas, the people watching!
Saturday, we didn't have any plans and it was a gorgeous day. We went to breakfast (we never do that and should more often) and then I decided to go and wash my car and run a few errands. I have to confess to you all that very little in life makes me happier than a squeaky clean car. (I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having a clean car. I might even be a bit weird about it. I'm okay with that.) Of course, that means cleaning it inside and out. Saturday night we had an almost free date. We had a gift card to dinner and some free movie passes, so all we had to pay for was the tip at the restaurant. Date night for free!
Today we had church this morning and also a retreat for the RCIA class this evening. It was a very nice retreat. We talked about what the process has meant to us and then had a special transition to the parish hall for a banquet of bread and wine and a nice discussion about the symbolism leading up to our first Holy Communion. This time next week I'll be a full fledged Catholic. It's been a long process (since September), but it's been such a growth process for my husband and I. We've truly enjoyed this process and what it's meant to us. I think I might be a bit sad when it's over.
P.S. We saw I Love You, Man and it was SO funny! Laugh out loud funny! Go see it, you'll like it!
P.P.S. Still not sure what I'm wearing for the Easter Vigil. I bought a suit on eBay, but I think I might need to get a back up outfit in case it doesn't fit.

I want to see that movie so bad!!! I might have to pass my little one to a sitter so the hubby and I can go see it. XOXO
That movie does look really funny. I tried to comment on another post, but for some reason it would not let me. I was going to say that it does seem really unusual to have music playing all the time in an office.
I keep hearing how funny that movie is, I need to see it!
