Vacation countdown

So, we've officially booked our very first vacation (married that is)! I'm so excited I've added a countdown to my Google home page. (Right now, it's 74 days away.) We're are going to Arizona and we're kind of touring the state. It started last Christmas when some dear friends suggested we all take a long weekend trip somewhere. The Mrs. wanted to go somewhere none of us had ever been and this is tough to do! So, we brainstormed and decided on Sedona.
Husband and I were going to stay the week before to go to the Grand Canyon and Scottsdale each for a few days.


So, here's a brief overview:
Day 1 arrive in Phoenix
Day 2 drive to Scottsdale to see the Frank Lloyd Wright house for the day
Day 3 Diamondbacks game
Day 4 Grand Canyon
Day 5 rafting down the Colorado river
Day 6 Grand Canyon
Day 7 Meet up with friends, picking them up in Phoenix and headed to Sedona
Day 8 Sedona
Day 9 Sedona
Day 10 headed back home

Doesn't this sound like a great vacation? (Now, I just need to find a job so I'll need one! LOL!) My husband has never been to the Grand Canyon and I've been a couple of times. I really, really wanted to go to the North RIm and we kept checking for rooms and had pretty much given up when he looked one more time and we got them! This was very exciting since there is only one lodge there. Now, we're planning our activities in Sedona with our friends. I'm looking forward to it already...
