I've had such a good weekend and quite a few revelations I want to share with you. So, my apologies if this post seems a bit scatter-brained, but I'm not sure all of them warrant a post of their own...
1. In less than three weeks I'll be a Catholic. It's hard to believe Easter is almost here. I've been in the RCIA class since September 7 (the day after we got home from our honeymoon). My husband is my sponsor and it's been such an interesting time of growth for us both.
2. I've had so many well wishes about my job offer and it was s good to be able to share praise with our small group tonight. I do realize how fortunate I am to have found a job in two months in this market. I truly believe it's who you know and I actually got my foot in the door for an interview from a former contact.
3. We went to dinner with my cousin and her husband on Friday. They literally live two minutes from us and we've yet to get together. We had so much fun with them! Only, my cousin had a bit too much to drink (this is funny since it was BYOB!) and fell asleep on us. Good thing her husband is a hilarious Irishman!
4. Jumping back to number 1, I have to figure out what to wear to the Easter Vigil. Anyone ever go to the Vigil? I know my husband doesn't really since it's such a long service. My first thought is a dress, but I'm not sure how much kneeling is involved.
5. We have just over two months until we go on vacation! Now, I can get excited that it will actually be a vacation. Oh, and a shout out to my friend Brittney (who just became a follower). We're meeting her and her husband in Sedona! Hi Brittney!
6. We did our taxes today. Good thing we're married; I totally saved the husband from owing anything! We're getting a refund! We have no idea what to do with it, but I'm certain we'll think of something.
7. Whatever, Martha! is my new favorite guilty pleasure! Can you imagine growing up as Martha Stewart's daughter?
8. My cousin is having a baby tomorrow! I hope I can go visit them tomorrow or Tuesday.
That's about it for now; I'm sure I'll think of something else as soon as I hit "post". Have a great week lovelies!

Wow! There is a lot of exciting things going on in your life, yayayaya!!
I'm so excited for you. When I completed RCIA five years ago, I bought the cutest dress for the vigil. Well, the weather turned cold and rainy for the weekend so on Saturday morning I was out trying to find something to wear. I ended up with a long skirt and twin set. I was glad I went with the skirt because I don't think any of the other women were in short skirts or pants. It was such a loooong night but I was confortable.
One of my favorite memories was when all the candles being held by everyone were lit and the Priest was singing in Latin. The fire alarms started going off because of the smoke. The fire dept came out and everything. When the alarm finally went off, you could still hear the priest singing in the most beautiful voice. He never stopped and never got off key. It was such a memory for me.
Congratulations on your job and becoming Catholic! That is all very exciting. I would think probably a skirt or dress for the Vigil, though I don't think I've ever been to one, either. You've got a lot of great things going on for you right now :)
exciting things going on!!! :o)
Sooo many good things going on in your life right now. I love that feeling!
Seeing your tweet made me think of your big week and your first confession. Mine was the weekend before Easter. I remember being so nervous and sick to my stomach. I really thought I was going to get sick, ha. (After all, I had years to think about) I just remember coming out of the room with the priest (which was a face to face) and having the most wonderful and calm feeling. Hope you had the same experience.
