Busy weekend

I'm sitting in a sports bar with my husband as he plays trivia. So, I thought I would write a quick post so you didn't think I disappeard. This is my downtime from our busy weekend! At least we had nice weather today. The clouds finally cleared here in DFW and we got to see the sun!

Yesterday we had lots of errands and seemed to get them all done. Then my RCIA class was at the five o'clock mass. After church we met up with friends for a dinner party. It was so fun. They both had their birthdays this weekend and had a party to celebrate. Complete with margarita machine! Yum!

This morning we got to sleep in, which was good since we didn't get home until almost two last night. This afternoon we went to a baptism ceremony for my husband's new goddaughter. (I'll be sure to post some pictures, she's a cutie!) She's seven and was very much looking forward to it.

And, tonight we had our small group Bible study. We've been meeting for a month now and are really enjoying it. I think it's so nice to be able to really share this with my husband. I think it's SO important for a man to be the spiritual head of his family and I totally agree you should be "equally yoked", as they say.

Whew! I'm kind of tired. I hope all of you had a nice weekend as well!
