Dear Julia - Six months

Dear Julia,
You are six month old! Well, twenty seven weeks to be exact. You are growing by leaps and bounds lately and it's hard to keep up!

This past week you had your first taste of solid food. I'm not sure if you liked the cereal or not, but the bananas seemed to get you more excited.

We also took part in a very Texas tradition today and took your photos in the bluebonnets. You weren't quite sure what to think of them, but we got a few smiles all the same.

You are still working on rolling over, but you're very close. You are also trying to sit up on your own. We still have to remind ourselves to adjust your age since other babies are still bigger. You like the carrier, but I think you prefer your baby bjorn to the baby k'tan. I think the best test will be baseball season and we're so excited to take you to your first game.

You love to give smiles and laugh and seem to light up when people you know are in the room. You have started to be more interested in the dogs and especially Rocket since he holds still for you to pet him.

It's so hard to believe that half of a year has already gone by and we can't wait to see how much you'll change in the coming months!
All the love in the world,
Mom

Don't you love the whole adjusted age thing? I am constantly reminding myself to use it too.

I seriously cannot believe it's been 6 months.

And all these bluebonnet pictures make me want to pack up and move to Texas just to take some pictures there!
