Life List #100

100)  Become a mother.

It's with great joy that I let you in on the excitement in our life right now. We've told the parents and the friends and relatives and now I feel comfortable enough announcing to all of you as well.

I'm a few weeks into my second trimester and the first appointments have all gone very well. We are both excited, nervous and anxious all at the same time. But, definitely looking forward to the great adventure of parenthood.

We've prayed for God to get us ready for this adventure since we've been married and I think we go forward ready to learn and grow in our marriage. I also pray for all of my dear friends who are ready for this journey but have heard God say ,"Wait" to them. I can tell you personally that the waiting is the hardest part and you are in so many womens' thoughts and prayers.

I'm due October 28th and should the bean make it's appearance on that day it would be five years to the day that we met. Pretty cool, huh?

How wonderful! I know how you feel - Hubby and I were married for five years before we had our daughter. The waiting is very difficult, but what blessings have been bestowed upon us since then! Happy Mother's Day to you!

Congratulations!! That is such wonderful news! Glad everything has been going smoothly for you. You will love being a mom (well, really, you are already a mom, but a mom to an "outside" baby, I guess :)). It is challenging and scary sometimes, but the most wonderful experience in the world. We're due just about a month apart! Can't wait to read about the rest of your pregnancy :)
