Thank you all so much for the congratulations and the well wishes yesterday! This, right here, is why I love the blogging community so much!
I know we have a lot to learn and we're excited to do so! (Believe me, I've been saving all of you moms' favorite things posts for a while in anticipation for this.) And, it is so true that it starts to feel real when you share the news. I've felt so blessed from the first person we told at how excited everyone seems to be for us.
And, thank you so much for your votes of confidence in my yet to be determined mothering capabilities. I hope I can live up to them. (Honestly, this is what I'm most nervous about. That I'll be a good mom. I have no idea why either, it's not like I have anything to go on really.)
Today, is my birthday and we're going to a Rangers game where I hope and pray they beat the Yankees. (I really am quite anti-Yankee. I just can't get excited about a team that has such poor sports for fans. Excluding my friend Jeremy; you're okay in my book.)
I do have to say I have a sweet new co-worker who asked if it was the big 3-0. Sadly, no, it's not. I passed that mark longer ago than I want to admit. But, gosh, she made my day!
