The Story of Us

I borrowed this from Lesli and thought I'd share more about us with you all as well.

1. What are your middle names? Mine is Michelle and his is Gerard.

2. How long have you been together? Our first date was on Halloween of 2006. We've never had the talk about being exclusive; we just were.

3. How long did you know each other before you started dating? 3 days

4. Who asked who out? He asked me out

5. How old are each of you? I'm going to be honest and tell you that I'm 32 and he's 34.

6. Did you go to the same school? No, I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and he's from Baton Rouge.

7. Are you from the same home town? Nope, see above.

8. Who is the smartest? He is, definitely.

9. Who majored in what? I was an art major and also have minors in French and marketing. He has two degrees in electrical engineering and an MBA.

10. Who is the most sensitive? Me, no question there.

11. Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? Oregon for our Honeymoon. Although we're going to Maine and Vermont in April so I think that might be a bit farther.

12. Who has the worst temper? Me. We're both very stubborn, but I think I get set off faster than him.

13. How many children do you want? One or two; we'll see how it goes.

14. Who does the cooking? Mostly me, but he cooks as well.

15. Who is more social? Definitely him. He can strike up a conversation with anyone.

16. Who is the neat freak? Without a doubt, ME! I think I drive him nuts with all my tidying!

17. Who is the most stubborn? Me. See #12. Although we are both pretty stubborn we're learning how to compromise the longer we're married.

18. Who wakes up earlier? Him, even on the weekends, which is nice since sometimes he brings me coffee in bed.

19. Where was your first date? An El Salvadoran restaurant called Gloria's. They have some of the best margaritas you'll ever drink!

20. Who has the bigger family? Immediate family is me, extended family is him. His family is huge. But, he's an only child and I have two siblings.

21. Do you get flowers often? Not so often; but he is good about picking nice ones.

22. How do you spend the holidays? Oh goodness, that's a post in itself. We try to alternate the big ones between our families since his in in Louisiana.

23. Who is more jealous? Neither one of us are very jealous really.

24. How long did it take to get serious? A few months, I guess. He told me he loved me before Christmas that year.

25. Who eats more? Probably him, I was a vegetarian before we met so I don't eat much meat.

26. What do you do for a living? I work in marketing and he's a engineer.

27. Who does the laundry? We each do our own and I also do the household laundry. I'm sure one day that will change, but I'm pretty particular about what gets washed and how.

28. Who's better with the computer? It depends; I'm a Mac and he's a PC. Although he's talked about wanting to switch to a Mac.

29. Who drives when you are together? Generally him; I prefer him to drive and I think it makes him antsy for me to drive him.

30. What is your song? We have two, If I Should Fall Behind by Bruce Springsteen and The Luckiest by Ben Folds.
