Comments

So, earlier in the week Jane over at Moonflowers, Mojitos and Me wrote a post about comments and I think it's very much worth sharing. Click here to read it.

I'll wait for you to come back...

And, if you didn't leave, here's her instructions:

Often times, when I hit reply, it goes to noreply@blogger.com. I understand some of you want your email set up this way. I know who you are and I have your email. You can stop reading now.

However, I’m sure there are some of you out there who think gees, I always comment, I wonder why she never replies. And by “she,” I mean all bloggers. The reason is because you aren’t set up for responses.

Jane to the rescue … let’s get this changed. If you want. Don’t feel like you have to. But if you don’t want to, and you want a response, pretty please put your email in the comment.

1. From your dashboard in blogger, click on edit user profile.

2. The first section is called Privacy. This is where you want to be. Check the box that says “Show my email address.”

3. The next section is called Identity. The second box is where you enter your email address where you want responses on your comments to be sent too. Don’t worry … it won’t post your email with every comment you make. Only the blog owner will see it!

4. Go to the very bottom of the page and hit save!
5. Await your replies!

Thanks, Jane for granting me permission to re-post this.
Basically, all of us bloggers love getting comments. And, we generally respond to them, at least I do. (I am a middle child by the way and thrive on the attention; it's sad, but true.) I love getting to know all of you through your comments. But, often your email isn't set up to let us respond back to you. Her post is so helpful in telling you how to enable your emails.

SO, please check out her post and follow the directions to enable your email. I want to meet you!
