1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Paper. Unless it’s something round or strangely shaped and then it goes into a bag.
2. Real tree or Artificial?
Real, always real.
3. When do you put up the tree?
Usually a week or two before Christmas. We keep it up until Epiphany so we like it to last.
4. When do you take the tree down?
See above.
5. Do you like eggnog?
No, not really. Too rich.
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Will you laugh at me if I say my Caboodle? OK, then I’ll say bike.
7. Hardest person to buy for?
My husband. Well, I should say he’s the hardest person to buy what he wants since it’s all high tech and expensive.
8. Easiest person to buy for?
My sister is usually pretty easy since I can get something I would like.
9. Do you have a nativity scene?
Yes, we have a couple of them. And, I finally bought the Willow Tree nativity I’ve wanted for years.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Snail mail, of course. Hand addressed. No email for me.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
I couldn’t say, which must mean I’ve never gotten anything that bad.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
Love Actually, Christmas Vacation
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Usually in November. I always say I’ll start earlier but it never happens.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
I’m sure I have, but I always follow the rules of regifting.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Cheese popcorn from those tins. Is that wrong?
16. Lights on the tree?
Absolutely! This year we have red, green and white lights.
17. Favorite Christmas song?
Joy to the World. It’s so happy and joyous.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
Depends on the year. The in-laws are in Louisiana and currently we rotate. When we have kids, who knows…
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Yes, can’t you?
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Star, although I’ve been looking for a pretty antique style topper for a couple of years now.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
People, everyone is in such a hurry to get it all done that we forget to appreciate the reason for the holidays.
23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color?
Our theme, thanks to my MIL, is snowmen. When we got married we got several snow couples that I think are very cute.
24. Favorite for Christmas Dinner?
Our family isn’t really known for its cooking, sadly, so the food was never really a highlight. I hope to change that with my family.
25. What do you want to do for Christmas this year?
Relax and enjoy it (but, I know I’ll be running around trying to make everything “perfect”. Gah! What is wrong with me?)
26. Favorite Christmas tradition growing up?
Listening to John Denver and The Muppets Christmas carols while decorating the tree. My husband thinks it’s cheesy, but I think he enjoys it a little bit as well. (Or, he enjoys me singing like Miss Piggy…)
27. Favorite tradition now?
Same
28. Favorite Christmas Memory?
I’m honestly not sure if I can pick just one.

Hey Sara!I'm a follower of Lesli's blog and noticed we are both from the DFW area. Thought we could be blog friends! :)
Just wanted to say I agree with the paper and no bag unless you have no choice. That is actually a pet peeve of mine when people just throw things in bags. I wrap every present with TLC. :)
Wrapping paper all the way... unless it's oddly shaped. Then it begrudgingly goes into a bag.
I'd love to hear you sing like Miss Piggy!!
