We're off to Atlanta this evening for a quick weekend trip. I'm not sure what we're going to do, but I'm certain we'll get out as much as we can. I do have to admit that as a HUGE Top Chef fan I'm a bit bummed we won't make it to Woodfire Grill, Chef Kevin Gillespie's restaurant. You see, my husband has tons of cousins in ATL and we have plans for dinner both nights. And, Woodfire Grill isn't open for lunch.
I will say I think Kevin is one of the best chefs this season. I loved how he told us him and his wife give up meat for Lent. So cool! (Kevin, I'll be sure to eat your food when I come back someday...)That being said, I'd love some recommendations for lunch and brunch places. I'm thinking we'll likely want to take my husband's cousin and her hubby out to either breakfast or maybe Sunday brunch for letting us stay at their home.
And, I hear there's some pretty good shopping, so maybe, just maybe I can take a break from my clothing diet. Maybe.
Also, if I'm a bit quiet this weekend now you know why. Bon voyage!

I hope you have a great trip! I don't know Atlanta very well, but Lennox Square is a good shopping area.
Doesn't that stick and you sort of take it personally. At least I do. Still a follower! keep up the posts!
I'm a huge Top Chef fan too! I love Kevin and I'm hoping he wins. He seems to be the most talented!
