Three years ago today we had our first date, as hard as it is to believe. We had met only a few days before and he asked me to go to a concert with him. Ben Folds was playing in Fort Worth.
If you had told me then that three years later we would be married for just over a year I would not have believed you! Not sure why, I'm just pretty sure I wouldn't have thought we'd be so good together.
My husband and I both have a great love for music and immediately hit it off when we were listing bands that not many other people knew. This song, The Luckiest, by Ben Folds was our "last dance" song. We had all the guests exit the reception hall and the DJ played one last song for just the two of us. It was SO special and I'm so glad we did it. (I had a line from the song engraved into my husband's wedding band. Awww...)

I LOVE The Luckiest! It was our first dance song - but we don't have the cool Ben Folds back story. Very sweet!
