Then we headed to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes and on to Jo Ann for fabric. I'm redoing the guest room and the bed is an antique and needs a custom bed-skirt. So, we got some nice, plain fabric for the bed skirt and she's also going to make curtains and toss pillows.
The highlight though was picking up this:
It's been on our wedding registry from day one and I'm SO excited to have it! I can't decide what to make first, I'm looking up recipes that I've wanted to make, but required either a mixer or three hands. Suggestions are welcome of course!
Saturday night we went to the Rangers game for some baseball with our moms. Now, the Rangers have been playing so well lately, but they just were not good last night. And, they lost. But, we got ice cream after the game and that made us all happy.

I love, love, love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer! I have the huge industrial one and use it all the time. :-)
I want one of those mixers so badly! I'll be putting one on my wedding registry, that's for sure! And I LOVE Homegoods, hands down one of my favorite stores EVER.
I received that exact mixer shortly after my wedding...kept it packed up beause we were plannin on moving...then sent it to storage while we lived in an apartment/searched for a house. Our POD is arriving this Friday and in it? MY MIXER! I can't wait! I even fondled one at a store over the weekend and my husband laughed and said, "Soon, soon!"
I can't wait until I'm settled somewhere so I can have a kitchen aid. Until then, I'll drool over yours! xoxo
