Case in point. I purchased not one, but two pairs of shoes. Who buys shoes when they're traveling I ask you?
The first pair are these super cute flip flops.

I had to make myself not get the lobsters. I knew I would be able to wear the flowers more.
The second pair might seem a bit strange, but we have wood floors in our house and my feet are always cold, especially in the winter.
My husband's cousin had on a pair of these and I went on a mission to find them last winter and never did. Well, I found them in Vermont and they were half off! I'd have a very hard time paying $70 for slippers, but $35 I can do. Also, I'm certain they will last longer than a month or so since they're leather and have rubber soles (even if they aren't very cute...).
One shoe I did NOT bring home was this one. Check out the size of that boot!
Also, the next time I decide to pack just a few "nice clothes" will someone please stop me? I carried around a twin set, sweater and black slacks and never once wore them. What a waste of space!

that boot looks huge. how big is it really?
I love the flip flops! I like the lobsters, too. Totally get it that you cab wear the flowers more though.
