Junior League Cookbook Swap

In November the lovely Monograms and Manicures hosted a fabulous cookbook swap that I thought was genius! She asked any interested readers to swap a copy of the local Junior League cookbooks with another reader. Now, we all know that Junior League cookbooks have some of the best home cook recipes out there and can be counted on for entertaining recipes such as punches and party mixes as well.

I was paired up with Imjustgirl from the Clearwater, Florida area and got this cookbook: From Grouper to Grits

I, of course, sent her the cookbook from my local Junior League of Arlington, Texas. For those who don't know where that is, it's right in between Fort Worth and Dallas. Fun fact: Oprah named it one of the best cities for eligible bachelors a couple of years ago. There's one less now, thanks to me. :)

Funny - when I met my now husband, he was living in Arlington too! I made the trek from Dallas to his "bachelor" bad many a night!
