Christmas Meme

I got tagged by Cole at All The Small Stuff for a Christmas meme. It seems like a fun Christmas themed post, so I'm going to play along.

1. Have you started your Christmas shopping?
Yes, but I still have more to do. Stockings are always tough for me.

2. Tell me about one of your special traditions.
My family always listened to a John Denver and The Muppets record while decorating the tree. My husband thinks it corny, but I still make him listen to the CD.

3. When do you put up your Tree?
Usually, the middle of December since we get a real tree and leave it up until Epiphany, but I want to put one up in the next day or so.

4. Are you a Black Friday shopper?
No, not at all. I used to go with my mom and aunts, but I just can’t justify any deal that’s worth getting up that early.

5. Do you Travel at Christmas or Stay home?
Depends. This year, we’ll be at our home for Christmas.

6. What is your funniest Christmas memory?
I’m not really sure to be honest.

7. What is your favorite Christmas Movie of All time?
Miracle on 34th Street

8. Do you do your own Christmas Baking, what’s your favorite treat?
I don’t buy anything pre-made. If it’s being served I make it. I love it!

9. Fake or Real Tree?
Real, always.

10. What day does the actual panic set in to get it all done?
About right now… :)

11. Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve?
I hope I’m not, but anything’s possible.

12. What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas?
Seeing the kids joy on Christmas morning.

13. What Christmas craft do you like the best?
I’m admittedly not very crafty. I’m much better in the kitchen.

14. Christmas music? Yes or No, and if yes, what is your favorite song?
Yes, but not until after Thanksgiving. Favorite song is Here With US by Joy Williams. It truly brings tears to my eyes.

15. When do you plan to finish your shopping?
Any day now… :)
