After Christmas find

I'm not really one to hit the mall right after Christmas. It's just too hectic and money doesn't really burn a hole in my pocket like it used to. I'd much rather hold onto it for a very well purposed item.

That being said, I needed to go to Dillard's to correct a mistake that was made in regards to my registry. (Yes, my registry from our wedding one year and four months ago. Turns out my crystal champagne flutes didn't match and that needed to be corrected. And, Dillard's is so good they fixed it without any hassle this much later.)

While there I was browsing the Christmas decor and stumbled upon this:The cross in the middle is our sterling pattern, Gorham Fairfax. I was so excited to find this since it will be perfect for our tree. We'll have this and the sterling forever! It's silver plated (I think) and it's about 3 inches tall. Such a beautiful ornament for our tree.

The cross on the right is my MIL's pattern, Strasbourg, so I gave that on to her. The other is Buttercup and I'm not sure I know anyone who has this pattern. I might post it on eBay. Or, I might just give it away to one of you. What do you think? A little after-Christmas ornament giveaway.

Let me know in the comments....

I love the crosses. I wish I had paid attention during all the trips I've made to Dillards during the last month! I think I might have to make a special trip lol.

Sara, thank you so much for your sweet comment and your prayers concerning my Grandpa. Our family really felt all the prayers and it meant so much to us.
