Where have I been?

Where have I been? I feel like I haven't posted in forever!

The week before Thanksgiving was filled with painting and cleaning. For some insane reason I decided to give the wallpaper in the bathroom a little tug and see if it would come off. Well, yes, indeed it did. Quite easily in fact. Trouble is, it didn't all come off.

All of this would be no big deal if I wasn't hosting a baby shower for my best friend on December 12th!!!

Add into that, we went to Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving and will be in Minneapolis this next weekend so I have no time to finish it myself. Which means hiring someone to do it.

Luckily, I just got off the phone with my painter I've used before and he can start on it tomorrow. Phew!

Now, if only I had some extra money sitting around to pay for it. I guess this is why you have a savings account, huh? I knew it needed to be done and I'm kind of glad I don't have to do it, but the timing really stinks.

Also, I didn't take a before picture. I SO wish I had since it was really ugly, but I'll be sure and take an after to show you how much better it looks!
