For why I haven't posted in almost a week, I guess I've just been busy. What have I been up to? Well, this weekend the husband and I spent an afternoon at Le Cordon Bleu in Dallas to see if it was the right program for me. Then SUnday, we spent some time at the Culinary School of Fort Worth. Why, you ask?
You see, I'm ninety percent sure I'll be signing up for culinary school in 2010. Yep, that's right! We're talking total career change!
This all started with my husband saying, "Why don't you go to culinary school? You love to cook and you aren't exactly crazy about your job. I think you should do it."
I love that I have a husband who wants me to love what I do. I can't say that enough!
So, we've been doing out research online and checking out the many options here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There's a school in Fort Worth, and three in Dallas. The thing is, they're all different. And, seeing as I already have a college degree it's a balancing act of trying to figure out which program will be the best fit for me.
So, that's what my brain has been preoccupied with lately. Oh! And, a possible (and I hope likely) kitchen upgrade. (more to come on that...)
