Problem solved

Earlier this week I was Twittering about our weekend plans. Sunday is our first anniversary and the husband has something planned. I have no idea what, only that we're going to Dallas. (I only know this because we're having a new cake made and the bakery we used is in Dallas. He mentioned we could pick it up on our way.)

I should confess that I'm really kind of hyper about being dressed appropriately. It drives me nuts when I see jeans in church, flip flops in the office, etc. I always want to make sure I fit in and that I'm properly "dressed for the occasion."

I had a surprise honeymoon (best vacation ever) and was super stressed about what to pack. I only wore half of what I took with me, but it was a really big suitcase. So, I'm having the same sort of dilemmas for this weekend. I know, I know, it's only a weekend and shouldn't be a big deal. But, to me it is.

Also, I've needed a weekend bag for quite sometime. I have gotten by with my boat and tote from LL bean in the past, but I'm a grown-up married girl now. I need an actual weekend getaway bag, yes? Here's what I got:
The Miller tote from Vera Bradley in Calypso. I totally love it! It's my favorite color, blue and it's a nice clean pattern. The older I get the more I tend towards only wear and carry solids. This pattern made me very happy as soon as I saw it in person. The best part? I can build a super cute collection! I'm already eyeing the garment bag...

Can't wait to pack it. (Although I don't know what I need to pack in it!)
