Vacation Summary, Part Three

Finally! I'm getting around to giving you the details of our weekend in Sedona. It was so pretty and we had a great time. There are plenty of places to get good food and great margaritas!

This was our view driving down to Flagstaff. We had to go through Flagstaff to get to Sedona. There is still snow on the mountains!
More from the car. This drive was so pretty!

This is us after lunch and out first margarita. Yum! (We got our Oregon shirts on our honeymoon. No, we didn't plan to wear them the same day. I had mine laid out first. I'm pretty sure he wanted to be like me.)

Us at the entrance to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. The Chapel is the following icture. I loved how this church seemed to float on the rocks. The view from inside the church is amazing. (No, I didn't take a picture inside the church.)

Here's us at dinner with our friends. We had such a great time with them and will definitely want to travel with them again. Yes, there were drinks!

We took a Jeep tour of Oak Canyon and here's a picture with our guide, Ponderosa Pete. He was quite a character!

Here's some photos from our tour:

Our last lunch in Sedona we had to try some cactus fries. Thanks Brittney for ordering them! They were different, but quite good.
And, last but not least a favorite of mine. I keep trying to get some good ones of us.

If you ever have the chance to visit I would highly recommend it. If only for a few days. We loved it!

Aww, look at the cute matching couple! :-)

I just love Chapel of the Holy Cross. I was there last year and almost got pushed over the edge by an overzealous foreign tourist. Quite the memorable experience!
