First, thank you all so much for your very kind and encouraging words to my last post. I'm sure when we're ready it won't seem overwhelming. I mean, our dogs take lots of attention and care and we've kept them happy, right?
Second, I love my new job! The people are just great and so friendly. There's a definite learning curve, but I feel like I can ask all the questions I need to and they won't mind. I'm starting to feel settled into my responsibilities and have really jumped in which is such a great feeling. I feel like with new jobs you get to start over and really gain confidence in yourself.
Third, I'm so looking forward to Easter! My mother in law is coming into town tomorrow and it will be good to see her. We get along great and I'm so thankful for that.
Fourth, I found out that the church will have incense at the Thursday and Friday night services and I'm worried about that. You see, incense is one of my migraine triggers. I can't even be in the same house as it with out getting a major migraine and I'm worried I'll get one tomorrow night. The pastoral associate has made sure there is no incense being used on Saturday night and I know that's the more important service. Please pray for me that I can make it through both services without getting sick.
Fifth, I do have a outfit for the Easter Vigil. I wish I had found it weeks ago so I could have had it altered. You see, I'm a pear (right now, I'm a size 8 on top and a 12 in pants. Oh, and I got ripped off in the chest department! Good thing my hubby likes some junk in the trunk!). That said, it's very hard for me to find dresses that fit properly. And most suits come in only one size. But, alas, no time to have the jacket altered now. I'll have to do that after Easter and hope I'll wear the suit again.
Lastly, I may not be posting much over the next few days since I'll have a house guest and I'll be very busy at church. I pray you all have a happy and blessed Easter weekend!
