Helpful Hints

I don't have too much to write about today. I have plans to watch my nephew tonight and help out my sister and a wedding tomorrow so that should give me some good material. For today I just have a few helpful hints I've learned from keeping a house with more than one resident.

- Use your empty dishwasher as a drying rack. I do this when washing the china by myself so I don't have to worry about trying to wash and dry without dropping.

- After emptying the dishwasher put soap into the tray. This helps us to know if the dishes are clean or dirty. With newer washer the "clean" light doesn't come back on after it's first opened.

- Store extra trash bags under the bag being used in your trash can. This way, my husband always knows where to find a clean bag!

- Put your canvas shopping bags back in the car after unloading groceries. Also, keep your coupon holder in the car so you don't forget it either.

- Dish leftovers into single serving serve containers. Much easier to grab lunch in the morning.

I just noticed all of these were kitchen related. Hmmm, can you tell someone is a bit weird about her kitchen? Happy Friday everyone!

You're so right about that! It makes the biggest difference for me.
