So, my husband didn't go for my idea. He said he could do it for me, but it's not the response I wanted. I'm thinking of something else that's more of a sacrifice for me alone. I'm kind of stumped though. What do you marrieds think? I'm new at this while Lent thing. We didn't grow up observing it by giving anything up.

Hmm... I'd have to say something I'd try and give up is watching TV in the bedroom -- This would be a HUGE sacrifice for D and something I think would be great for our marriage -- But we are not Catholic... Something sort of funny (but actually quite ignorant on our part) was we wondered all day what that mark was on Joe Biden's forehead... Yeah -- Please laugh.
I think we would give up going out to eat...that would be so hard for us!!
