Last night I volunteered for a cooking class and it was so much fun! I was sort of the assistant who hands things out, picks up trash and dirty dishes, etc. It may sound like grunt work, but I learned everything the students did, but for free! For those of you who live in North Texas (or Austin for that matter) you've likely been to a Central Market. If you don't it's sort of like Whole Foods, but not as exclusive and more hands-on. My husband and I love this store. We are what they affectionately call "Foodies." It was a truffles class and we learned how to make homemade truffles that were SO yummy! I'm thinking I might try it today for a Valentine's treat. I'll be sure to let you know how they turn out.

I went to a cooking class at Central Market last night in Houston. The class was on Chinese Cooking. It was my first Central Market cooking class and I LOVED it!
