So, this weekend at church the priest did something I thought was really neat. He had a special prayer for blessing of the marriages. His prayer was so beautiful and talked about how marriage as a sacrament was an outward sign of Christ's love for us and his marriage to the church. It was so nice, he had all the married couples hold hands (just with each other) while he said the prayer. He asked for strength for us for the hard times we will inevitably face and for guidance as we navigate our way through the world with each other. It was so special I just had to share! P.S. Those are our rings at our ceremony. Not a great picture, I know.
