Motivation is key...

I'm super motivated! To do what you may ask? To paint my kitchen and give it a refresher.

A little background... I moved into my husbands house after he had lived there for more than six years. It was built in the 70s and I'm convinced the contrator had zero taste. And my husband isn't exactly the nesting kind. He's done very little to the house since he's been there, cosmetically speaking. Me, my surroundings are so very important to me. We 're planning to sell the house since it's about an hour commute for me each way. So, we've begun the "fix up the house to sell it" game. In doing this I want to make sure we don't make it too plain jane so that
it still feels homey should we decide to stay here. (You never know in this economy, right?) And, so another woman can see herself living there.
